Biography

Chukwunonye Ezeah is a Reader in the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike. He graduated with B. Eng (Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering, a Master of Technology Degree in Environmental Technology and a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom. Before coming into academia, Ezeah had worked for a number of high profile organizations including Japanese Gas Company (JGC) in a joint venture with Exxon Mobil. Ezeah is a COREN Registered Engineer, Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK, a Chartered Environmentalist and a Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He is a regular presenter at local and international scientific conferences and author of a significant number of high impact journal publications. His research interests focus primarily on sustainable urban environment particularly, waste management technologies and best practice strategies; as well as the broader interphase between the natural and the built environment.
