Biography

Engr. Dr. Esonye Chizoo is a chemical plant Quality Control and biofuel production process optimization Engineer. He has about 20 years post graduate experience in Chemical plants and allied industries. Dr. Esonye Chizoo is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers and a certified and registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria. He was trained by Seven-up Bottling Company PLC and Paterson Zochonis (PZ) Cusson Industries PLC. He is currently a Lecturer/Researcher and has served as the HoD of Chemical Engineering of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike (AE-FUNAI), Nigeria. In AE-FUNAI, he has equally served at various University/Faculty/Departmental committees. His major research area includes: Renewable energy and environmental protection, Chemical engineering process optimization, separation processes etc. Engr. Dr. Esonye has over 40 publications in high impact factor and other international journals, some book chapters and monographs/book. He holds a Doctoral degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria. He won the most productive researcher in Engineering for the year 2019 in AE-FUNAI and the Second Overall Best Research Publication Winner: 2ND Edition of Council of Deans of the Faculties of Engineering and Technology (CODET) in Nigeria in 2021.
