Biography

Dr. Ezeh Gladys Chinelo is a lecturer in the Faculty/Department of Agriculture (Animal Science Unit), Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State Nigeria. Gladys is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and also has a master’s degree (MSc) in Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine, both from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is specializing on zoonoses and her research interests are on food safety, antimicrobial resistance, environmental health, and zoonotic diseases. Gladys is currently working on “Serology, Molecular Epidemiology and Risk factors of Toxoplasmosis in Livestock and Humans in Enugu and Ebonyi States, Nigeria”. She is registered with the Veterinary Council of Nigeria and also a member of Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association. Gladys has the desire to work in an enabling environment where she can learn and work with modern facilities. She has published in both local and international journals, has five-years teaching experience and has attended a number of conferences. She is very honest, reliable, hardworking and a team-player.
