Biography

Dr. Augustine Chukwuemeka Ifejimalu currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Geography, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Management and Assessment (2021), an M.Sc. in Environmental Management (2015) and a B.Sc. in Environmental Management (2010) from Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki. His research areas include: Environmental Studies / Management, Pollution Control, Climate Change, Agricultural Science, Environmental impact Assessment / Studies, Soil Conservation and Erosion Control. Dr. Ifejimalu is a member of the Nigerian Environmental Society (MNES), Soil Science Society of Nigeria (MSSSN), International Union of Soil Science (MIUSS), Agricultural Society of Nigeria (MASN), Waste Management Society of Nigeria (WAMASON) and Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM). Dr. Ifejimalu has published articles in prestigious peer-reviewed journals – locally and internationally. He has also attended and delivered research papers on topics / works related to his core research interests at several Conferences. He has 8 years of working experience in academic institutions. Additionally, Dr. Ifejimalu services the Soil Science programme of the Department of Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture, AE-FUNAI where he teaches theoretical and practical courses on Geographic Information System (GIS), Soil Conservation and Erosion Control. He is happily married and has children.
