Friday Nwankwo Archibong is a lecturer II staff of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. He obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) and a Master of Engineering Degree at University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

He is currently a PhD candidate at INSA Centre Val de Loire Blois, France. His research interest is on nanomaterials, material characterization, thin films and nanotechnology, materials processing. He has published articles in prestigious peer-reviewed journals. He has worked actively as a research member on the research grant award titled ‟Design & Fabrication of Juice Extracting Machine for Establishment of Orange Juice Processing Plant in AE-FUNAIˮ and ‟Rice Husk Briquette Production: An Alternative Renewable Source in Ebonyi State Universityˮ. He has also attended workshops and conferences relating to his research interests.
